INFLAGRANTI are a FEMALE electric string trio that has been breaking down the boundaries between classical music and rock since 2004. Top-class instrumentalists rework famous melodies from Bach and Vivaldi to Queen and Metallica into original crossover arrangements — and perform them on electric violins and cello with an energy that works just as well in a philharmonic hall as at an open-air festival.
This most famous Czech electric string trio debuted in 2005 with the album Rockmantica released by Universal Music and has since released four studio albums. The DVD Brioso — a live recording from 2009 — received a Gold Record. The band tours throughout the Czech Republic every year and regularly performs abroad: Japan, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Greece, Poland and more.
On stage, INFLAGRANTI have collaborated with Josef Vojtek, Petr Kolář and Marián Vojtek, and have also performed at O2 Arena and major music festivals. Their show is carefully designed both visually and sonically: energetic, precise and yet full of emotion.
